Hemptress bags new for 2011!

After three years in development, Hemptress™, Inc. finally launched in January, 2010. Hemptress™ is a contemporary fashion handbag and accessory brand from Los Angeles, who’s bags are primarily made out of hemp. Many have “reborn” leather trim (repurposed from recycled leather) and they are all luxuriously lined with a silk/hemp blend lining, except for the vegan collection, which has a hemp/RPET lining. Even our high quality zippers are from recycled sources, and we use factories that adhere to fair trade practices. But we don’t stop there. Our labels are made of hemp, our hangtags, business cards, and all collateral are printed on recycled paper with soy ink, and our shipping boxes are made from 100% post consumer waste. We will also be donating a portion of our profits to an animal rights group as well as Vote Hemp. What is really innovative about Hemptress™, is that our line is Fashion-forward AND Eco-friendly. We focus heavily on trend analysis, so these fashion-forward bags are doubly sustainable, and will stay stylish for years to come. Come check out Hemptress at J’me Boutique in 2011!

HEATHER – SPRING PREVIEW 2011 – JUST ARRIVED!
More than just a name, HEATHER consists of fashion-forward pieces crafted from novelty heather fabrics, made exclusively just for them.
In a sea of luxury t-shirt lines, HEATHER has astutely and delicately formulated an ethos to set them apart. Every garment is designed and produced with immense dedication to quality and workmanship.
Korean-American designer Jin Moon and Ardy Raminfar co-founded HEATHER in 2009. A project that Ardy Raminfar had already been working on for two seasons, he discovered Jin, the missing variable in the HEATHER equation. Jin brought with her a fresh vision about alternative ideas for the wardrobe basics. Together, Jin and Ardy built upon the conviction that comfort and fashion could exist harmoniously in one luxe t-shirt.
HEATHER’s unique use of customized heather fabrics, mixed and matched with a variety of other mediums such as woven silks, leather, micropoly chiffon, and high twist cottons, creates texture and depth in each and every piece. Crafted by hand, each garment maintains a clean, sophisticated and luxurious finish.

Chan Luu – Not just wrap bracelets!!!
We all love Chan Luu for her infamous wrap bracelets! I have to tell you that is not all she is! She is a bag of chips and more, way more. How about picking up one of her scrumptious cashmere scarves this holiday season! I used to wear scarves with tank tops back when I lived in LA. Now I wear them with a basic tee, blazer and skinny pair of jeans! I love this one from Chan Luu that’s a paisley gone classy and J’me has solids, leopards and tie-dyes too! Come on in a snag one up at $178!
Corey Lynn Calter Rocking Holiday Style!
Corey Lynn Calter’s holiday collection is rocking our world!
Corey Lynn Calter developed her unique aesthetic while involved in subcultures as divergent as the New York punk scene to the San Francisco opera. Her eponymous label, which launched in 2000, features original prints, flattering cuts, and brilliant twists on classic silhouettes.
Inheriting a sewing machine from her grandfather, a tailor from Italy, and a sense of color from her mother, an interior designer, Corey started making her own clothes while still a teen in Philadelphia. Majoring in fine art at a high school for performing arts refined her sense of color and texture–things she is now known for–and trained her in labor-intensive processes of color washing and under-painting. The experience left her with both a sharp eye and an aptitude for meticulous work, which brings a visual intelligence to her designs today.
Featured this holiday at J’me boutique is the Adriana Red Blous Dress $252 & the Genie Line Black Dress $262
